{"id":565,"date":"2025-12-13T19:17:32","date_gmt":"2025-12-13T18:17:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huibertsap.com\/?p=565"},"modified":"2025-12-14T20:26:59","modified_gmt":"2025-12-14T19:26:59","slug":"first-public-exhibition-muiden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/huibertsap.com\/?p=565","title":{"rendered":"First Public Exhibition \u2014 Muiden"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In early autumn 2025, I presented my work publicly for the first time during a small exhibition in the historic city of Muiden.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The photographs shown were part of a longer journey through Japan: images made while moving between cities, waiting for trains, and learning to slow down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Showing the work in a physical space, outside of my own studio or screen, marked an important moment for me: not as an end point, but as a beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Muiden holds a personal significance for me. As a child, I often visited the town with my father, walking past the castle and along the water.
